Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Stay Green (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Stay Green keeps your Slack status text and "active" presence on a schedule you define, across the workspaces you connect. You provide your own Slack session credentials for each workspace.

Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Keep your password and two-factor methods secure.

Your Slack workspaces — important

Automating your Slack presence this way may violate Slack's Terms of Service or your workspace's policies. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with any rules that apply to you and your workspaces. You represent that you have the right to connect each workspace and to automate the account you connect.

Stay Green is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Slack Technologies. Slack may change its platform or block automated presence at any time, which can interrupt the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Connect a Slack account you do not own or are not authorized to control.
  • Use the Service to deceive an employer or others in violation of applicable law or policy.
  • Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the security or integrity of the Service.
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Subscription, trial and billing

The Service is offered on a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. A free trial may be offered; unless you cancel before it ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period.

Prices and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. We may change prices; changes apply to future billing periods.

Refunds

Our refund terms, including the money-back guarantee, are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. Because presence depends on Slack, interruptions on Slack's side are outside our control.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will keep any particular status or presence at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
